Why We Rallie
💰 Don't get it twisted, there's a reason Rihanna is the youngest self-made female billionaire.
On Sunday, Rihanna headlined the Super Bowl's half time show with her chart-topping bangers, while simultaneously (and subtly) revealing her pregnancy— and she didn't even break a sweat.
Fun fact: the NFL covers all costs associated with the show, but artists don't actually receive an appearance fee. But not to worry, nothing stops Rihanna from getting her bag.
Part way through the 13-minute performance, the singer made sure to touch up her makeup with a product from her billion-dollar beauty line, Fenty Beauty. A smart marketing move, showcasing the brand to the Super Bowl’s 100M+ at-home audience and a stadium of over 63K people.
Following the promotion, Google searches for Fenty Beauty rose by 833%, making it the fourth most searched topic of the evening.
In another report by Launchmetrics, the mention of Fenty Beauty during the Super Bowl generated a total of $5.6M in media impact value (MIV) in the first 12 hours.
Rihanna: businesswoman first, performer second.
The impact of Rihanna's Super Bowl performance:
• #1 most-streamed artist globally
• 118.7 million viewers (5M more than SB)
• 17 songs in the Top 40 on Spotify
• Gained 3 million Instagram followers
• Searches for Fenty Beauty are up 833%The Super Bowl effect is real 📈

Rallie Refresh: Love & Money
We know, we know...money may not be the most romantic topic for Valentine’s Day, but we think talking about finances with your partner is a key factor in keeping the love alive. Read these tips to make the money talk a little easier:
❤️ Start the coin convo early: Talking about money isn't easy, but it gets easier the more you do it! The sooner you can establish a comfortable way of talking about finances with your partner, the better. Don't stress, this doesn’t mean you need to disclose everything to your partner, but money conversations should evolve as your relationship does.
📅 Set expectations: Let's be honest, nobody likes to be ambushed with a bunch of questions about finances. So if you want to have a convo about money, try not to surprise your partner with questions... instead, set a time and day to talk about money together and prepare a list of topics you'd like to discuss.
📖 Keep an open mind: Each person has their own relationship with money that is usually informed by a number of factors (money trauma amiright?). Try to stay open to ideas and when talking about finances with your partner—their background and experiences are likely going to be different than your own.
💰 Set financial goals: Setting a few financial goals with a partner is a great way to foster teamwork, give direction, and provide motivation for saving or investing your money.
